Dohyeon Yeo

I am a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher in the HCIS Lab. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the College of Information and Computing at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), advised by Prof. SeungJun Kim. I received my M.S. in Intelligent Robotics at GIST. Before joining GIST, I received my B.S. in Control and Automation Engineering at Korea Maritime and Ocean University. My research focuses on the design and evaluation of in-vehicle user interfaces and interaction techniques, with a particular emphasis on user experience (UX) in the context of automated driving. I am also deeply interested in the application of extended reality (XR) technologies to enhance situational awareness, immersion, and safety within automotive environments.
